iunno why but i tend to think of these two as the sorta tessa and scott of italy, anna cappellini & luca lanotte.

=> so now for the ladies contenders:
homegirls cynthia phaneuf and joannie rochette are a must on this list. cynthia, yes she's been a bit =s the last few years but i think that she's slowly climbing back. and joannie has been absolutely AMAZING since torino06, especially this season.
laura lepisto & suanna poykio, anything can happen with these girls. too bad kiira korpi couldn't make it this yr =(
carolina kostner, what this girl has too much of is speed (something that other skaters can only wish for). once she can grab onto those horns she will go way far.
from the powerhouse, miki ando, mao asada, fumie suguri. it's good to see fumie back =) and hopefully miki ando can keep her chi through this competition unlike last yr. as for mao, i say screw her, grrr, judges need to start seeing her jumps for what they really are. SUPERLY underrotated.
yu na kim, she is absolute the whole package when it comes to this field.

=> once again its time for the one and only WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh this season has been all ups and downs, inconsistancy, and underdogs.
so just a brief on what i think might happen this year (and hope will happen).
=> men's - contenders would be:
kevin vd perren (iunno why but i love this guy and always just have to root for him)
homeboys p chan, vaughn chipeur, and jeremey ten. dispite the fact that according to my friend, jeremy looks like a ill childy.
tomas verner? not quite sure about him anymore... since he was afterall euro champ last season but hasn't been too consistant after that.
brian joubert, we can never leave him out.
samuel contesti, you know he's an up and coming name and has the marks to do ok but hasn't shown me too much for me to really concider him a threat.
from the powerhouse of figure skating, takihiko kozuka and nobunari oda. kozuka really came out of nowhere and shocked us all at SA...just really though kiddo, get rid of the bowling shirt costume.
the boys from down south aka the guys from the states, they should do fairly well. afterall, evan lysacek is 2 time bronze and jeremy abbott was able to dethrown evan from his national title.

=> Rumours have been flying around this for what seems like ages now.
Mr. Ugly Face (aka Plushenko) is planning for a comeback in time for Van2010. *rolls eyes* Come on, how much more do you want? you already have an olympic gold, is that NOT enough? ugh
what an cocky egotistic ugly face. good thing he caught the flu recently...too bad they say its nothing major.
I know its not nice to speak bad things about people, but why can't he just like superly break his leg or hurt his back or something so he won't be able to be at even 50% by the time 2010 rolls around and then WD (if he DOES decide to be a bum and try to comeback).

=> Sorry bout that pretty much skipped over the whole GP series, Euros, both Canadian and US Nationals, AND 4CC. *sigh*
Well...I guess that the good news would be that Worlds are right around the corner and of couse, being Canadian and all, I'm superly ecstatic that we have contenders in all four fields. Super strong National Team this year and excellent performances and results to show for it.
Tessa, really hope that you're able to get back to 100% asap!!! *hugs*
